Migration Sprints

Baseline Sprint Dates

MHHS Migration started in October 2025 and runs until May 2027. To keep things structured, Migration will be delivered in nine sprints, each with a Planning, Execution and Retrospective Phase.

At a high-level, the phases cover the following activities:

  • Planning Phase when Suppliers will submit their migration plans (either a forecast or daily committed) via Kestrel. This is consolidated into a Baseline Schedule. Please note that all Suppliers need to submit a migration plan as part of each sprint planning cycle.
  • Execution Phase when  Suppliers will execute migrations.
  • Retrospective Phase is the period post-Execution to capture lessons learned from the sprint.

The table below provides the dates for each of those phases, for each Migration sprint.

For more information on the Current Migration Sprint please view the Current Migration Sprint page of this website.

The Sprint 0 Migration Plan Summary on the Migration Baselined Documents Repository page of this website provides an overview of the outcomes from the MHHS Sprint 0 planning phase.

For more information on how sprint cycles work please see the Migration Framework and the Migration Sprint Cycle Dates document on the Migration Baselined Documents Repository page of this website.

Migration Meetings and Checkpoints

To support a smooth migration period, there will be several regular meetings and checkpoints for each Sprint.

The Migration Meetings and Checkpoints document below provides a high-level overview of these regular touchpoints, including their frequency, purpose, and audience. The scheduled meetings will also be supplemented by ad-hoc meetings as needed. Ad-hoc meetings will likely address any significant deviations from the plan or migration-related issues.
