Facilitating Engagement between Suppliers and Agents
At the Qualification Working Group (QWG) in June 2024, the Programme took an action to explore how it can support engagement between Suppliers and Customer Appointed Agents so that they can understand Qualification and Migration plans.
The Programme proposes publishing a central register for participants who opt in and consent to information they have provided being shared on the MHHS communications channels (the MHHS website and Collaboration Base).
For each participant that opts in, the register will include:
- Wave allocation (for non-Systems Integration Testing (SIT) participants)
- Anticipated Migration Start Date (for Suppliers), and
Qualification key contact
Providing information for publication on the central register is optional and details will only be published for parties who have confirmed their consent.
The register will be published on the Collaboration Base and MHHS website to support engagement between Suppliers and Agents. Participants should be aware that wave allocations could change and the time taken for a participant to progress through Qualification will vary.
Please note, the Migration information provided and published in the register will be based on Migration Control Centre inputs by participants.
It is understood that there may be requests for Wave reallocations if CR055 is approved by Ofgem, it is therefore the Programme's approach to publish the information once any Wave reallocation activity has concluded.
Additional supporting mechanisms to facilitate engagement between Suppliers and Agents include:
- Programme Party Coordinator (PPC) (MHHS) /Operational Support Manager (OSM) (Balancing & Settlement Code (BSC)) /Operational Account Manager (OAM) (Retail Energy Code (REC)) teams can also help facilitate engagement where needed
- REC Party Register (a list of all acceded REC Parties and contract manager details) is updated weekly and published on the REC Portal
- BSC publish a list of party OSM’s to facilitate engagement
