Paths to Migration
To verify participants’ fitness to take part in the new Half-Hourly arrangements, participants had to test their systems to comply with the E2E MHHS Design.
There were two paths to migration, either via Qualification Testing, or the earlier route of SIT.
If participants took part in SIT, they were not expected to undergo additional Qualification Testing in the Qualification phase.
SIT Pre-requisites
- Programme responsibility: The SIT scenarios specified by the Systems Integrator (SI) team, demonstrated functional, non-functional and migration-related characteristics of the Market Interfaces and Services in an integrated environment.
- Participant responsibility: Evidenced Pre-Integration Testing (PIT) executed in your own environment.
Day in the Life (DITL) Guidance
The Programme published some DITL guidance documents for SIT Functional and Migration and SIT Non-Functional test phases.
These guidance documents provided SIT participants with detailed insights into the collaboration between the Programme and participants to ensure the successful delivery of the respective Functional, Migration and Non-Functional Test stages.
They served as a resource to help participants understand how the Programme would facilitate their execution of SIT, their obligations as SIT participants and their eventual Test Exit.

Defect Management Plan
The Programme baselined the Defect Management Plan which is available below:
The document described the overall approach to managing defects within the industry testing phases of the MHHS Programme. The purpose of the plan was to support the timely and efficient raising, triage, categorisation, and resolution of defects.
It also described the defect assignment and process workflow, along with state definitions and transition states.
