Programme Governance Transition Post-Milestone 10 (M10)
This page provides some context and outlines the shift in Programme Governance to business as usual (BAU) governance post-Milestone 10 (M10).
MHHS Programme governance was established at the beginning of the Programme to provide an effective decision-making framework. The framework ensured industry had a voice in decisions and workstreams were effectively driven forward. To support this, we stood up the Programme Steering Group (PSG) and a series of Advisory Groups (Systems Integration Testing Advisory Group, Design Advisory Group, etc.) and Working Groups (Systems Integration Testing Working Group, Qualification Working Group, etc.), and the framework of groups changed and developed over time in line with progress and requirements.
As we approach M10, some areas have completed their work. As a result, the associated groups have been formally closed (Design Advisory Group and Cross-Code Advisory Group). Some Programme activities will continue beyond M10, and therefore the relevant workstreams remain active (Migration and Cutover Advisory Group, Qualification Advisory Group, Systems Integration Testing Advisory Group – now ad hoc).
For those areas of the Programme that have completed, management and decision-making is moving away from Programme-led governance structures to enduring BAU arrangements.

Business as Usual (BAU) Governance
Some activities will move from Programme management to BAU arrangements. For example, if industry participants wish to engage on matters relating to Design or Code, these will now be managed under BAU arrangements and Service Management, along with any operational matters, and any queries should be directed to Elexon Support.
