Panel & Ofgem Approved Code Artefacts
The following Code Panels approved the MHHS Code drafting under their respective Significant Code Review (SCR) Modifications:
- Balancing & Settlement Code (BSC)
- Retail Energy Code (REC)
- Distribution Connection and Use of System Agreement (DCUSA)
On 26 November 2024, Ofgem approved these Modifications, meeting Milestone 7 (M7) and you can read more about the decisions via the links below:
These Code Artefacts will take effect at Milestone M8/M10, which is the MHHS go-live date of September 2025.

BSC Modification P474: Governance, funding and operation of the DIP implemented the DIP Rules on 1 October 2024.
Rules concerning:
- General Provisions, Governance and Change came into effect on 1 October 2024
- DIP Operations (including onboarding), Data Management and Assurance will take effect at M10.
- Funding arrangements will come into force at M16.
