Code Governance

Cross-Code Advisory Group (CCAG)

The CCAG is a Level 3 Advisory Group. It is responsible for overseeing the development, management and implementation of MHHS Programme Code changes to all MHHS impacted industry Codes.

The CCAG will ensure that the MHHS Target Operating Model (TOM) and baselined design is reflected in each of the industry Codes.

The CCAG is supported by a Level 4 Code Draft Working Group (CDWG). Together, the CCAG and CDWG will oversee the central coordination, monitoring and management of Code changes to all MHHS-impacted Code Bodies, ensuring their Codes are updated and comply with the new MHHS arrangements.

Relationship Between Code Governance and Programme Change Control​

Following an action from the Cross-Code Advisory Group (CCAG), the Programme has produced a document detailing the principles, steps to be taken and governing processes where a Code change may impact the Programme. You can view this document below:

Consequential Change Log

The Consequential Change Log can help parties to identify items which are within the scope of the Programme, and that are captured as part of the Consequential Code Change delivery.

Code Drafting Working Group (CDWG)

The CDWG is a Level 4 Working Group convened under the Cross-Code Advisory Group (CCAG). It is a Working Group forum to deliver the Code drafting and review required to deliver MHHS Code changes. 

The MHHS Programme will work with code bodies to set the agenda and provide the meeting materials. Code drafting and related issues will be presented for CDWG review and feedback before being sent for open consultation. CDWG attendees will be expected to review the meeting materials and provide feedback, so the meeting is focused on issues identified or comments raised.
