SIT Migration
Systems Integration Testing (SIT) Migration Testing, where the migration process specified in the End-to-end MHHS Design is tested, starting with the “as is” systems and moving through the migration steps to arrive in the final “to be” state. Both central (market infrastructure) and Supplier/Service Provider systems will be needed for Migration SIT.
The Programme has a defined set of documentation which will be produced to support the preparation and conduct of each SIT stage. These Approach and Plan documents specifically relate to the Component Integration Test (CIT) stage, describing the associated objectives, scope, approach, schedule, management, governance and assurance of the test stage.
You can view these documents on the SIT Migration Test and Test Data Approaches & Plans page of this website.

SIT Migration and Settlement Testing Guidance
SIT Migration Testing and Data Approach guidance
The Programme has published the SIT Migration Testing and Data Approach guidance document.
This document provides guidance to SIT participants during their testing by providing guidance on roles, how to set up test data and sets out how the Data Transfer Service will need to be configured.
You can view this document on the SIT Migration Test and Test Data Approaches & Plans page of this website.
SIT Settlement High Level Testing and Data Approach Guidance
The Programme has published the SIT Settlement High Level Testing and Data Approach guidance document to support SIT participants during Settlement Testing.
Settlement Testing in SITB started on 10 June 2024 and will prove the accuracy of Settlement processing and reporting.
Elexon will produce a “Settlement Input Report” which will enable Programme participants to compare the settlement inputs (i.e. the Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) consumption provided, estimations etc.) with the “REP” settlement reports.
A small number of MPANs will be used to support this testing. Each cohort will be assigned an average of 50 MPANs (400 in total), each settlement day and the subsequent runs will use these 400 MPANs.
You can view this document on the SIT Migration Test and Test Data Approaches & Plans page of this website.
