MHHS Migration Framework

The Migration team facilitated several workshops to draw together Migration Working Group (MWG) attendees and other interested participants to develop the Migration Framework ahead of both consultations.

The MHHS Migration Framework details the principles, controls, roles, processes and responsibilities regarding Migration, as well as the decision-making authority of the Migration Control Centre (MCC), its activities and interactions with participants. 

The first consultation focused on developing and maintaining the Migration schedule and was approved by the Migration & Cutover Advisory Group (MCAG) on 8 May 2024.

The second consultation focused on monitoring and controlling Migration Execution, having previously focused on developing, initialising and maintaining the Migration Schedule in the first 
Migration Framework consultation. It also included some minor updates to some of the Artefacts included in the first consultation regarding Small Portfolios and Exceptional Thresholds. This was approved by the MCAG on 25 July 2024.

There will be a further consultation in early October 2024 to further refine the Artefacts and resolve those areas that have rolled over from the first two consultations. This consultation will also focus on:

• Unused Capacity Allocation
• Integration Approach
• Specification of Go-Live Governance Process
• Parameters and Go-Live Values
