Migration Supplier Submission Round 2

On Wednesday 7 May 2025, the Migration Control Centre (MCC) issued migration envelopes and weekly submission templates to all Suppliers who have provided Primary and Secondary Migration contacts.

As per the Baselined Migration Framework, all Suppliers were required to complete and submit their weekly migration plans to the MCC, via the Kestrel tool, by Friday 20 June 2025.

The MHHS Programme has published a guidance document to support participants in navigating Kestrel. You can access this on the Kestrel page of this website.

A massive thank you to all the Suppliers who successfully nominated a submission via Kestrel ahead of the deadline.

Over the coming weeks, the Migration team will collate all Supplier submissions and baseline the overall Migration Schedule.

The aim is to make the baselined version 1.0 of the Migration Schedule available for participants to view in Kestrel on Monday 7 July 2025.

The Migration team will also share key findings from this Supplier submission round at the Migration Working Group (MWG) on Thursday 10 July 2025, including successes, lessons learned and any improvements that will be taken into the next planning cycle.

If you have any questions, please email the Migration team at Migration@mhhsprogramme.co.uk

User Access & Management

Participants who have been nominated as Kestrel users should already have access through an active MHHS account.

If you don't have this, please request this by emailing the Programme Party Coordinator (PPC) team at PPC@mhhsprogramme.co.uk

Please note: Any changes to user access must be coordinated through your organisation's designated User Manager, as identified in the Programme Participant Information Request (PPIR) that was issued in April 2025.

To request additions or removals, please email the Kestrel team at Kestrel@mhhsprogramme.co.uk with the subject line formatted as follows:

<Supplier MPID> - <Role> - <Request Type>

For example: ABCD - Supplier - New User Request

Early Access to Validation Feature

To support suppliers in testing the validity of their migration plans against the Framework, Kestrel has introduced a Validation feature that provides validation findings upon submission of migration plans.

The Kestrel and Submission 2 Updated Validation Rules Guide provides information on the Validation Rules functionality that went live in Kestrel on Wednesday 28 May 2025 and replaces the Validation Rules that were live when Kestrel was launched on Wednesday 7 May 2025. You can view this on the Kestrel page of this website.

The Promote Plan feature is currently disabled and will only be enabled once the Validation functionality is fully implemented.

Once the Promote Plan feature is released, users will need to re-upload and re-validate your migration plan before it can be nominated for use by the Migration Control Centre (MCC).

We appreciate your support in testing and familiarising yourself with the current functionality. We'll make further updates available as and when required.

If you have any questions or you need further assistance, please email the Kestrel team at Kestrel@mhhsprogramme.co.uk
