SIT Retrospectives
The Programme acknowledges the importance of capturing lessons learned from the delivery of MHHS Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and has a responsibility to formally document these insights to inform the planning and execution of future industry programmes of a comparable scale and nature.
In addition to conducting its own internal retrospective, the Programme proposed an industry-wide testing retrospective. The findings from this initiative will be documented and incorporated as a dedicated section within the MHHS planned ‘Blueprint for Subsequent Industry Programmes’ document.
It is recognised that SIT participant teams are currently engaged in critical internal activities to achieve Milestone 10 (M10). However, it is also acknowledged that several key industry test team members may soon conclude their involvement with the Programme. Considering this, the Programme facilitated four one-hour retrospective sessions on 26 and 27 August 2025, providing industry participants with an opportunity to reflect on the MHHS testing and defect management process. These sessions enabled participants to record views on successful practices and to identify valuable lessons that may support the optimisation of future industry programme delivery.
The sessions were exclusively intended for participant test team members, with the aim of ensuring discussions remained focused, efficient, and constructive. The sessions were organised as detailed in the table below.

The session recordings, and transcripts have been shared, and these are also all available on the MHHS Webinars and Open Days page of this website.
The Programme has also provided a summary of the topics raised and discussed. Topics are organised into themes along with a context summary, interpreting the key takeaways and recommendations for future industry programmes.
